Here is how Myself, Fayette, and Daniel looked for last year's Edwardian Ball!

Distractions: I've had a colorful life spending much of it living in the Haight Ashbury. As A child I fell in love with the Addams Family TV show which introduced me to Victoriana. Since then I have restored eleven Victorian buildings, salvaged many, and disassembled and moved an 1870's Italianate from Medina, Ohio to Sonoma, County , California. Also as a youngster the Hippie movement was blossoming around me. Attracted to the psychedelic music and colorful people I was meeting I dove head first into the culture. I lived in the Haight Ashbury Switchboard commune as a teenager. The early hippies tried to have a cash free society and there were free stores in the Haight where everything was free, a free clinic, the Swichboard which steered people to crash pads and aided them in survival on the streets, food co-ops, and lots of free music in the neighborhood parks. At age 19 I opened my first shop, White Rabbit at 1409 Haight Street. Later in 1978 I opened Pipe Dreams with two partners. In 1982 I opened the store Distractions, which I still operate today.
